Nemark was asked to provide a solution to the every growing issue of mobile email. The client already had a terminal server which allowed users to log in from any internet connection but this was proving difficult whilst on the move. Nemark carefully looked at the business and how it was planningto grow in the coming years and found that the best solution going forward was a BES server (or Blackberry Enterprise Server). Since installation all staff within the organisation now have Blackberry devices and are therefore able to communicate from wherever they are. The feedback from users is that it has really helped them get more done during the day! |

The client already had Microsoft Mobile handset devices and asked if we were able to connect them to their email. The client did not have a server at this point so a full Network Server solution was developed that included a Terminal Server and Microsoft 2008 SBS Server. Once installed the client handsets were set up and this gave them the ability to send and receive email whilst away from the office without the need of a laptop. What’s more they were also able to access contacts, outlook diaries and add contacts to their Microsoft Outlook in real-time. |
